Pet Placement Center Offers $20.12 Adoption Event

The Pet Placement Center in Chattanooga is offering cuddly dogs and cats for adoption during the $20.12 Adoption Event.

The Pet Placement Center, at 5975 Dayton Blvd, will be open on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

For one day only, all dogs and cats over the age of six months are $20.12. All dogs and cats leave spayed or neutered, updated on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed and treated with flea and heartworm preventative.

“We have learned that money doesn’t equal a good home,” said Executive Director Kerry Moyers-Horton. “Every adopter must consider the cost of caring for a new dog or cat companion, but charging a higher adoption fee doesn’t guarantee the new pet will be taken care of any better than one adopted out for less.”
