Two Maltese Rescued from Puppy Mill

1 Jan

This weekend we helped to transport two cute little Maltese stud dogs, Rowdy and Baron, rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri.

A helping hand or two for Baron

Special thanks to Second Chance Animal Rescue in Collins, MO,  to transport coordinator Kerin Hanson of Rescue Road Warriors for arranging it all,  and to all the drivers,  especially our friend J.Lee, who drove slowly so Beth, Steve and Ginny could finish their New Year’s brunch.

These guys went to safety at Southern Comfort Maltese Rescue, and hats off to Mary for fostering these cuties for a while. At the end of the day on Sunday Mary said  “they have pottied and eaten a nice warm meal. They are checking out chew bones right now & exploring the house. They seem very excited about all life has to offer them now, thanks to you all.”

Get us outta here!

As the Beatles said, "Love is all you need"

That's Rowdy with Beth, the Underdog Railroad blogger.
