Karen’s cats need some love

2 Nov
Many of you heard the story about Karen Morton’s accidental death recently while caring for her beloved horses. Story here:

Her cats are currently at Ashland Terrace Animal Hospital in Chattanooga.  THEY CANNOT STAY THERE MUCH LONGER!!! All three are very attractive and affectionate.

Sophia (long haired 14 year old Tabico) is petite (getting too thin), very beautiful, and clung to me.  She needs out of that cage ASAP.
Orlando (long haired 14 year old orange Tabby) is large, calm, and gentle.  He had a urinary blockage in 2008 and is on Feline CD prescription diet to maintain urinary health.
Kitty Noir (black 18 month old) is on the larger side and has lush, shiny fur.  He is very flirtatious, could not decide if he wanted more to be held or to play.  Fun cat – kept trying to get into my arms.
All three are Felv/FIV negative and S/N. These cats have been mainly outdoors in a barn home environment, but are not feral by any means. We had them tested at our expense. These older ones just don’t belong in a shelter environment, even one as nice as PPC. We can take Kitty Noir if there is nowhere else for him to go. Karen adopted two cats from us a couple of years ago. We have those two cats back here at the Center. We are very full and are hoping someone else can help these three.
Please contact me directly if you can help. kerry@thalppc.com
